The student ministry at Temple Baptist Church exists to engage students with the good news of Jesus Christ, equip them with the Word of God, and empower them to change their world for the glory of God.

Engage.

The gospel is the center of everything we do. It is not merely something we do to get into heaven, it is the power that changes every facet of our lives.  Not only are students constantly reminded of its truth, they are also mobilized to share it. The goal of every Bible study, every devotion, and every message is that students' lives would be changed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Equip.

Our Bible study times are dynamic and interactive experiences in which students are challenged from God's Word and taught how to discover truth for themselves. As teens are transformed by the Bible it begins to effect everything they say, do, and think. We deal with everything from 'how do we know God exists?' to 'how to date to the glory of God.' We aren't just looking for moral students, but students whose worldview is distinctly Christian and whose lives reflect Christ.

Empower.

Every event and activity we do has a purpose. We want to empower our students to take the good news of Jesus Christ into their world, into the culture. We take students into the neighborhoods around our city to do servant evangelism, we take mission trips to places like West Palm Beach and Charleston, and we participate in events that empower students to live their lives to the glory of God. Our students are not merely hearers of the Word, but our prayer is that they are always doers of the Word as well.
